Step 1

Start with the white side of the paper facing up, fold it in half, crease it well, and then unfold.

Step 2

Fold it in half again from left to right, crease it well, and unfold.

Step 3

Fold the left and right edges to the center to meet the middle crease.

Step 4

Fold the top right corner to the left diagonally, crease it well then unfold.

Step 5

Repeat this for the top left corner.

Step 6

Flip it over.

Step 7

Fold the top edge down to meet the middle crease, crease it well then unfold.

Step 8

Flip the paper over again.

Step 9

Now, use both hands to press the two center points on the right and left edges of the square. Then, push it down to make the center points of the left, right, and top edges meet the center point of the bottom edge.

Flatten the fold, getting a triangle.

Step 10

Fold the bottom edge up to meet the bottom edge of the triangle.

Step 11

Take the right corner of the top flap, and fold it to the left diagonally.

Step 12

Fold the right edge to the left to meet the middle crease.

Step 13

Fold the left two corners to the right.

Step 14

Similarly, fold the left edge to the right to meet the middle crease.

Step 15

Then fold the right top corner back to the left. Now this paper looks like a small arrow.

Step 16

Fold the bottom edge up to meet the bottom edge of the triangle.

Step 17

Then fold both the left and right corners of the folded part down along the dotted line, creating a small triangle on the bottom.

Step 18

Slightly unfold the top corner of the small triangle.

Slightly open the paper from the center, then press the middle corner down to tuck it between these two layers.

Step 20

Unfold these two bottom corners.

Step 21

Fold these two edges, as shown by the blue line along the white dotted line, to meet the red line.

Step 22

Fold the left and right corners of the triangle upwards along the white dotted line.

Step 23

Fold the bottom part of the paper up along the middle crease.

Step 24

Fold the top rectangle in half along the white dotted line.

Step 25

Flip the paper over, this cute frog is done!

Step 26

Press down the frog’s back.

Step 27

Keep pressing until the frog jumps away. Have a long jump competition with your friend’s origami frog.
