How to Make an Origami Infinity Cube

Step 1

Place a piece of paper, fold it in half horizontally, leaving a crease, and unfold it. Then, fold it in half vertically, leaving a crease, and unfold it.

Cut this paper along the creases you made to get four small squares.

Step 2

Cut all 11 remaining sheets of paper into four identical squares in this manner, and you will get 48 small squares.

Step 3

Take out one of the orange squares, place it with the colored side face down, then fold it in half horizontally and vertically once and unfold it.

Step 4

Fold the top and bottom edges to align with the middle horizontal crease, then fold the left and right edges to align with the middle vertical crease, and unfold them for 90 degrees to make these two layers stand.

Step 5

Fold five more pieces of orange paper in this same manner.

Step 6

Place three papers as shown in the picture, with the top and bottom two papers placed vertically and the middle one placed horizontally.

Apply glue on the middle paper, then place the bottom rectangular parts of the top paper and the top rectangle part of the bottom paper on the middle paper.

Step 7

Take out the other two pieces of paper and lay them vertically on the left and right sides separately, and apply glue on the right rectangle of the left paper and the left rectangle of the right paper. Then, rotate them 90 degrees, making their opening face the three papers in the middle.

Step 8

Push the left and right sheets of paper toward the center so that they stick together with the left and right standing layers of the bottom paper.

Step 9

Apply glue on the top and bottom layers, then bring them up.

Step 10

Apply glue on the upper two layers, then take out the last piece of paper and put it on top of the box, making its left and right layers tuck between the two layers of the box. Finally, press down this top paper and stick it well to finish this small cube.

Step 11

Use the remaining paper to make seven more small cubes using the same method.

Step 12

As shown in the picture, place the eight small squares in two rows. Then use tape to stick together the two adjacent squares covered by the red indicator shown in picture 2.

Step 13

Rotate the eight cubes 90 degrees from front to back, and then use tape to stick the two cubes covered by the red indicator together.

Step 14

Rotate it 180 degrees from back to front, and then use tape to stick the two cubes covered by the red indicator together.

Step 15

Rotate it 90 degrees from back to front, and then use tape to stick the two cubes covered by the red indicator together.

Step 16

Now you are done, you can fold it as shown in the picture, it’s really fun!
