Origami Spider Folding Instructions

Origami Spider Step 1: Start with an origami frog base, then follow the next four (4) photos of the origami frog instructions.

The model will be similar to the photo below. Now using scissors, cut each of the four (4) legs lengthwise as shown, to make eight (8) legs.

Origami Spider Step 2: Next fold two flaps from left to right, to give the piece shown below...

Origami Spider Step 3: T hen rotate the piece through half a circle. Fold the bottom corner under to form the body of the origami spider, then start folding the legs (mountain folds) as shown.

Origami Spider Step 4: Continue till all eight (8) legs are folded as shown. Give each leg another fold as shown to make the "knee" joint.

Now your itsy-bitsy origami spider is complete, and ready to run up the water-spout!
