How to Make an Origami Frog Face

Start with the green side of the paper facing up, and fold it in half horizontally, crease it well then unfold.

Step 2

Fold it in half vertically, and crease it well then unfold it.

Step 3

Fold the top edge down to meet the middle crease.

Step 4

Flip it over.

Step 5

Fold the left and right edges to the center to meet the middle crease.

Step 6

Then fold the bottom edge up along the dotted line, and make sure to go over the white part.

Step 7

Open the left and right white squares – lift the top layer of the squares, and take the green rectangle you just folded up, then press it under these two squares.

Step 8

Flip the paper over.

Step 9

Fold the top edge down a little along the dotted line, then lift up these two top layers to open these corners, finally flatten them.

Step 10

Fold the two small corners in the middle of the top diagonally.

Step 11

Use scissors to cut a little bit of both sides of the green rectangle along the bottom edge of the white part as shown.

Step 12

Then fold the bottom left and right corners of the white part up diagonally a little.

Step 13

Fold the four corners of the green rectangle a little toward the center, to form the face of the frog.

Step 14

Flip it over again.

Step 15

Fold the two corners in the middle a little backward, creating two rounder eyes.

Step 16

Now use your paintbrush to draw the frog’s mouth and eyes, and create any other cute expressions.
