How to Fold an Origami Blossom Heart_Easy Origami Step by Step Instructions

Start with the white side of the paper facing up, fold it in half horizontally, crease it well then unfold.

Step 2

Fold both the top right and bottom right corners to the left diagonally, to meet the midpoint of the left edge, crease them well then unfold.

Step 3

Similarly, fold both the top left and bottom left corners to the right to meet the midpoint of the right edge, crease well then unfold.

Step 4

Flip it over.

Step 5

Fold both the top and bottom edges to align with the middle horizontal crease, crease well then unfold.

Step 6

Flip the paper over.

Step 7

We can see the paper is divided into two squares by the middle horizontal crease you made in Step 1.

Firstly, look at the top square and make a water bomb base. Use both hands to press the two center points on the right and left edges. Then push it down to make the center points of the three edges to meet the center point of the bottom edge.

Repeat this for the bottom square, make the center point of the left, right and bottom edges to meet the center point of the top edge.

Finally, flatten them, getting two triangles.

Step 8

Take the top triangle of the top layer and fold the left and right corners up to the top.

Repeat this for the bottom triangle of the top layer, fold the left and right corners to the bottom.

Step 9

Lift these four flaps you made in the previous step, and make them stand.

Open and flatten them vertically, getting four small squares.

Step 10

Fold the two edges of the four squares closest to the midpoint of the paper to the diagonal creases of the squares.

Step 11

Using the same method as in step 9, lift, open and flatten vertically the eight corners you folded in the previous step. You may need to be patient in this step.

Step 12

Flip it over.

Step 13

Fold the top corner down diagonally.

Step 14

Fold both the left and right corners to the center a little.

Step 15

Flip the paper over again, you get a fancy blossom heart.
