Easy Origami Star Box Step 1: Start by folding an origami waterbomb base. This is a commonly used base in origami and we've created a separate page of instructions for it.

Easy Origami Star Box Step 2: Fold both the right and left corners to the top.

Easy Origami Star Box Step 3: Fold the tips down. Crease well and unfold.

Easy Origami Star Box Step 4: Pry paper open and make a squash fold by pressing paper flat.

Easy Origami Star Box Step 5: Make 2 diagonal folds with the upper layers only.

Easy Origami Star Box Step 6: Make 2 diagonal mountain folds.

Easy Origami Star Box Step 7: Flip paper over.

Easy Origami Star Box Step 8: Repeat Steps 2 to 7 on this side. When completed, both sides should be identical.

Easy Origami Star Box Step 9: Fold up the tip. Crease well and unfold.

Easy Origami Star Box Step 10: Repeat Step 9 on the other 3 sides.

Easy Origami Star Box Step 11: Fold down the top tip. Crease well and unfold.

Easy Origami Star Box Step 12: Look at your paper from the top. Pry paper open in the center then flatten the bottom to form the base of the box.
