Origami Pecking Chicken Step 1: Start with a 6 inch x 6 inch (15cm x 15cm) square origami paper, color side down. Fold paper in half on the vertical diagonal axis. Crease well and unfold.

Origami Pecking Chicken Step 2: Fold both sides to meet the center crease.

Origami Pecking Chicken Step 3: Flip paper over. Fold both sides to the center starting from the top.

Origami Pecking Chicken Step 4: Flip paper over and rotate. Fold both ends inwards.

Origami Pecking Chicken Step 5: Flip paper over again and rotate 180 degrees. Fold where indicated below.

Origami Pecking Chicken Step 6: Make a mountain fold and fold paper in half.

Origami Pecking Chicken Step 7: Make a diagonal fold as indicated below. Crease well and unfold.

Origami Pecking Chicken Step 8: Now move the "head" or "beak" upwards and to the left.

Origami Pecking Chicken Step 9: Lift up the beak and crease paper to complete the origami.
